Companies I’ve worked with

Since you're here, learn a bit more about me and my design style.

  • I am a design leader who truly enjoys integrating research, strategy, and human-centered design to solve complex problems. With a foundation in Applied Psychology, I specialize in understanding the needs and goals of people who use technology and helping to create a business strategy around it.

I’m focused on working with cross-functional teams, facilitating workshops, creating design concepts, building interactive prototypes, and translating research insights into meaningful, measurable product experiences.

I have experience across several industries, on enterprise, consumer, and mobile experiences.

Fun Fact: I evaluated a Frozen Desert Machine and conducted research for a Baby Bottle design!

  • I am not engaged with teams just to “make things pretty”. My impact on a team is primarily understanding context and facilitating research and design, as well as, organizational alignment. And, last but not least, measuring our impact!

I’m not a Front End Developer, but I will roll up my sleeves and tinker with code from time to time!

  • Empathy through evidence – People matter, and so does the data behind their behavior. Do the Research.

Collaboration over control – Great outcomes come from shared ownership, not siloed decisions.

Clarity and utility – Design should communicate, guide, and perform—not just delight.

Continuous learning – I believe in testing early, failing intelligently, and iterating often.

Inclusive thinking – Accessibility and inclusion are not features; they’re foundational.

  • I truly enjoy applying a methodical approach to tackle complexity and guide people to their end goal.

I’m drawn to work that blends product visioning, research, systems thinking, and emerging technology (especially responsible AI) to elevate how people live, work, and connect.

I’m also energized by mentoring, teaching, and learning from others!

What people have said about me

  • "I have had the pleasure of working with Robert twice. First, on the redesign of J.P. Morgan's Access web platform. Robert was the design lead, effectively guiding a cross functional team through client research, design exercises, and synthesis to achieve a greatly improved client centric outcome. It was a major step towards achieving award winning results from Greenwich Associates. Secondly, on the redesign of a Trade Finance web property. He is a consumate experience design leader who brings out the best in clients, stakeholders and partners. He is deeply knowledgable on design, commercially minded and wants to achieve success for all."
